How does air waybill OCR work?

Our OCR SDK scanner uses a combination of image processing techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract text from scanned or digital images of air waybills.

You can also extract data from air waybills by sending them through our OCR API.

What languages does Klippa support?

Currently, Klippa supports all languages using the Latin alphabet, which is over 150 in total. Our engine performs optimally with English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish. 

However, we can support other languages on request. We’re open to training our machine learning models for you. If you have a specific case, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Does Klippa retain any data?

We don’t store any of your data by default. Your data is always processed under a data processing agreement (DPA) per GDPR. All of your data is encrypted during transfer.

Our servers are located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and we are ISO-certified, so your data is always protected and safe.

Our security is regularly tested via third-party penetration testing to ensure state-of-the-art security at all times.

How can I integrate your air waybill OCR into my software?

You can implement our API into any software, web, or mobile application of your choice. The API’s default output is JSON, which is a flexible format supported by all programming languages.
