The CMR Document, also sometimes called the international consignment note or CMR Waybill, is an international transportation document for all road transport that is based on the CMR convention. The name CMR originates from “Convention relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route.”, which was established at the Geneva convention in 1956. The document is obligated for many forms of international road transportation and is usually signed by multiple parties in the transport sector (sender, carrier(s), receiver).
Klippa helps companies in logistics, customs and transportation to automatically process CMR Waybills (consignment notes) in bulk, to prevent a lot of backoffice administrative work.
