About the Position
As a Finance & Operations Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance & operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks and process optimization.
You will also take on two exciting projects that will directly contribute to improving our financial operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact in a tech-driven company
What will you do?
You will support the finance team with a variety of tasks, including:
• Managing the Finance email inbox.
• Downloading invoices from various portals and forwarding them to our Finance email inbox.
• Responding to customer inquiries via email.
• Requesting purchase orders from clients.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers and customers regarding invoices and other administrative matters.
Additionally, you will work on two focused projects:
• Improving the way we work together with our suppliers and making sure all the key supplier information is up-to-date.
• Making sure the license information for our SpendControl product remains up-to-date in a state of the art SaaS solution.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to learn about finance and operations in a tech environment. You don’t need extensive experience—just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done!
You are:
• Detail oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks
• Proactive and confident in communicating with clients and suppliers via email.
• Interested in finance, administration and tech-driven solutions.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Based in Groningen.
• Available to start your internship in August/September 2025.
