You are close to graduating and you are looking for your first job. Or you already have some working experience and you are looking for something new. Either way, you want to contribute to our growth by onboarding new clients. Work experience in sales is a plus, but drive and enthusiasm are more important.
You are not afraid to call prospects and talk to them about their goals and how we could help them achieve them. You also don’t mind keeping in contact with existing clients, to make sure they are still happy and are always catered to.
Even though you know how to work independently, you are a real team-player. But more importantly: you are curious and want to become a great salesperson. You will be part of the Klippa sales team, consisting of seven salespeople, and you report directly to the Commercial Director.
You speak English fluently + at least one of the following languages: Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch.
What does your job look like?
You will be responsible for meeting our sales targets. This means selling our products internationally to software and loyalty companies. You will do this by giving demos of our software and making new contacts by calling, emailing, social selling on LinkedIn and any other creative way of sales you can think of. There is a room for creativity, because the result is what counts!
What does a typical day look like?
8:45 – You come into the office and start the day with a fresh brew from our espresso machine. You check your emails and socials to see who responded to your outreaches and make sure all activities from your CRM are up to date. Is that demo for 14:00 still on? Yes!
9:15 – The daily standup meeting is about to start. You briefly tell your sales buddies about your achievements of the previous day and your goals for today. Then it’s time for action. You start reaching out to your prospects by email and phone. These are prospects you identified earlier in your market segments by doing desk research. You send emails and schedule demos with your contacts.
12:00 – Time flies and time for lunch! After a stroll around the block with your colleagues you’re back in the game, sending out proposals and answering questions. You have an amazing demo with a very promising prospect, who was very enthusiastic. He wants to receive a proposal!
17:00 – While prepairing the next day’s activities you receive an email: your UK prospect signed the contract! You sound the sales bell and the whole team applauds!
Of course, it’s not all work: Klippa organizes lunch at the canteen downstairs and ‘Vrijmibo’s’ on Fridays. Of course, with Corona, we have to be a bit more careful and see to what extent social events can continue. We also normally have dinner night on Mondays, during which we watch presentations and eat together. We like to refer to our team as the ‘Klippa Family’.
