About the position
Complex and time-consuming paper document flows fully automated, that’s what Klippa offers with its innovative SaaS solutions. Or rather, you offer. As an Account Executive, you take the lead in the sales process with fast-growing start-ups and scale-ups in the DACH region, such as the Fintechs of this world. Your target market is: SaaS companies, FinTech, Mobility, RegTech and all start-ups, scale-ups within the DACH region. You will spend about 75% of your time on prospects/ outbound sales processes and 25% of your time on inbound sales processes. So it is important that your heart beats faster with outbound sales, we are looking for a real hunter.
You are responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to a closed deal and remain the point of contact for the customer afterwards.You will approach these companies by phone, email, LinkedIn (Sales Navigator) and any other way you can think of. Together with the Head of Sales & Partnerships you also look for the right international events to promote the Klippa story. You advise, inform and enthuse international prospects about Klippa products.
Who are you?
With your commercial drive and strong communication skills you know how to enthuse prospects from the first moment of contact. You always see opportunities and do not wait to grab them with both hands. You are the type of person who needs to be slowed down rather than encouraged. Klippa has a track record of at least 100% growth per year. You don’t shy away from that. On the contrary, you have the right drive and energy to get challenging goals and meet them.
– have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
– are a real hunterspeak fluent German and English (any additional language is a plus)
– have experience with prospecting and outbound sales have experience with software sales (plus)
– have experience in segments like FinTech, SaaS or Accounting / ERP (plus)
– have experience selling to start-ups and scale-ups (plus)
Klippa is an ambitious software scale-up that is now 7 years old. From our offices in Groningen (NL), Amsterdam (NL), Hamburg (DE) and Brasov (RO) we work with approximately 80 specialists, on building and selling technologically advanced SAAS solutions.
Our domain is the fintech and accounting market, which we serve with our off-the-shelf products (platform, web, app) as well as API-based solutions for claims and invoice processing, machine learning and data extraction (OCR). With these techniques we help organizations in SMEs, financial institutions and governments to digitize their current, analog processes. As a result, we achieve major time and cost savings for and with our customers.
Our playing field is a very fast growing market with enormous opportunities worldwide. Klippa serves customers in 30 different countries and the team is therefore very international. For example, we have colleagues from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Mexico, Portugal and the UK. We like to work on the frontline of technology and are constantly improving and innovating!
What do we offer?

Furthermore, you can expect the following:
– A full-time (40 hours per week) position as Sales Executive.
– A base salary between € 3,000 and € 4,000 gross per month.
– An OTE salary between €60.000 and €90.000 per year.
– An uncapped bonus structure, based on achieving targets, with an OTE between 50% and 100% of your fixed salary. This depends on the average contract length you sign. Do you go way over your targets? Then the sky is the limit.
– 25 vacation days per year (based on a full-time contract) and 8% vacation allowance.
– A company laptop and a company phone.
